1. Where is the World Village Festival taking place, and how can I get there?

The festival is held in Kaisaniemi Park and the Central Railway Square in Helsinki. The festival is best accessed by train, tram, metro or bus. For further information, go to the HSL Journey Planner. There is very little parking space in the area, so coming by private car may be inconvenient. The Festival Clubs are held at Virgin Oil Co. Mannerheimintie 5, Helsinki.


2. When is the festival taking place?

The festival is held 28-29 May, on Saturday from 11am to 8pm and on Sunday from 11am to 6pm. The Festival Club doors are open from 9pm to 4am on Saturday and from 9pm to 3am on Sunday.


3. Does the event cost anything?

The day-time events are free of charge, but the Saturday and Sunday clubs do have 8-12€ entrance fees.


4. Are there any age limits at the festival?

The day-time event is open to all and has no age limits. The Monsoon Restaurant and Zanzi Bar offer alcoholic beverages for festival visitors of 18 years and older. There is also an age limit of 18 to the festival evening clubs.


5. Where is the lost and found?

The lost and found is by the Info and Village Shop, next to the fountain in Kaisaniemi Park.


6. Is there a child care room in the festival area?

Yes. It is located in the Kids' Corner.


7. Where are the toilets?

There are many toilets on the festival grounds. They are marked on the festival map.


8. Where can I buy records by the festival's performers or festival T-shirts?

At the Village Shop, on the corner of the fountain in Kaisaniemi Park.


9. Will there be activities and performances elsewhere than on stages?

There are activities and performances at the Festival Clubs, Kids' Corner, Street Performance Area, Street Musicians' Area, Railway Square, UN Village, Zanzi Bar and at several other locations.


10. Is the festival area accessible for all?

Yes. All areas are accessible by wheelchair.
