The World Village Festival cooperates with several authorities. A long-time partner is the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Finland and, also The European Comission Representation in Finland.

The activities of the festival's main organiser, the Service Center for Development Cooperation - KEPA, are funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs development cooperation appropriations.
