The festival cooperates with educational institutions e.g. in matters relating to different services and production. The event offers possibilities for research and product development, among other themes.

We have cooperated with different polytechnical schools such as the Humak University of Applied Sciences and Laurea. For many years, Laurea students have conducted the festival's visitor and cooperation partner surveys as part of their theses.

We offer trainee positions for students of cultural, communication or organisational studies. The application time is in the fall, and trainees receive a salary for their work.
