New Latin American poetry will be seen, heard and felt at World Village Festival. Five poets with different styles and backgrounds will be on the Amazon stage.
Rocio Ceron, winner of the Gilberto Owen National Prize of Literature in 2000, fuses poetry with electronic music.
Lalo Barrubia is a writer and performance artist who lives in Malmö. Her work combines poetry and song, Latin American rhythms and rock music, humour and commonplace sadness.
Roxana Crisólogo, who lives in Finland, is a video poet and a cultural activist. Underpinning her poetry are memories and experiences of immigration.
Javier Norambuena is a Chilean poet.
Carlos Llamas is a poet from Mexico who has lived in Finland for four years.
