Is there an alternative to the capitalist system in crisis? Activists gathered under the Solidarity Economy banner argue there is, and in Kumpula, Helsinki, a Time bank of services and goods was established in November 2009.

Rajni Bakshi of Demokratiafoorumi VK and author of forthcoming book, Bazaars, conversations and freedom, joins Researcher and Friends of the Earth activist Jarna Pasanen and Sanna Pellicioni of Stadin Aikapankki (Helsinki Timebank) to bring forth these alternatives.
