Maailma kylässä -festivaali on ilmainen poikkitaiteellinen kulttuurifestivaali, järjestöjen messutapahtuma, ruokakarnevaali ja ajankohtaisten aiheiden keskusteluareena. 

World Village Festival is a free festival for the whole family, held at the end of May each year. It is organized by Fingo ry, a Finnish NGO platform and an expert on global development.

The event is open to all and a meeting place offering tastes of different cultures and surprises from all over the world. There are approximately 80 000 festival visitors attending every year. 

The festival has been organised since 1995 and it is one of Finland's largest festivals. Read more about the history, and find out how it all started.

Jubilee year focuses on climate change

World Village Festival 2019 marks the festival’s 20th iteration. The main theme of the jubilee year is climate change. The festival returns to Kaisaniemi Park and Railway Square in Helsinki for 25–26 May.
