World Village Festival is a free festival for the whole family, held at the end of May each year. It is organized by Kepa, a Finnish NGO platform and an expert on global development.

The event is open to all and a meeting place offering tastes of different cultures and surprises from all over the world. There are approximately 80 000 festival visitors attending every year. 

The festival has been organised since 1995 and it is one of Finland's largest festivals. Read more about the history, and find out how it all started.

Sustainable development is brought to mainstream at World Village Festival 2018

Kepa, a platform for Finnish civil society organizations and an expert in global development issues, brings decision makers, experts, and opinion leaders to the center of Helsinki to discuss social issues on 26 and 27 May. The theme of the World Village Festival 2018 is the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, sustainable economy, climate, environment and human rights.
