One teenager’s climate manifesto has rapidly grown into an international climate movement and inspired numerous young people in the Nordic countries and around the world.
What is the strength of the Nordic youth? How can decision-makers answer young people’s demands and build a cross-generational dialogue?
The event begins with a keynote talk by Senior Scientist Antti Lipponen of the Finnish Meteorological Institute and is followed by a panel discussion moderated by Petra Laiti, Chair of the Finnish Saami Youth Organization and member of Ruska Ensemble. The discussion is held in English.
Panel members include:
Nanna Lindbæk Qvesel, young climate activist (Denmark)
Satu Hassi, member of parliament (Greens.) and former MEP
Siiri Mäkelä, chair, Finnish Agenda2030 Youth Group.
