Sunday 26.5.2019 12:30 – 13:00 Amazon Stage, Railway Square

Artemi Troitski, one of Russia’s most famous dissidents, opens a window to an alternative history of modern Russia giving new perspectives to the current situation and the future. His book tells a story about a different kind of Russia – a land of anarchists, artists, punk rockers, dandies and hipsters. In the book, at the spotlight are the Russian revolutionary heroes who have changed the country from the 19th century through the present day. Troitski is interviewed by Iida Simes.

The discussion will be held in English.

The programme schedule on Amazon stage has shifted and some printed programme materials might have old information. Subkultura: Stories of Youth and Resistance in Russia will start on Sunday at 12.30 and end at 13.00.
