The understanding of art changes as the average temperature on Earth rises. In the future, everyone is an artist who has to use creativity to survive in the world of daily insecurity. Does this kind of art draw audience?
Too Hot For Art artists (Natalia Castrillón – harpist, Amandine Doat – dancer and circus artist, Jaap Klevering – voice and performance artist, Vishnu Vardhani – body artist) offer a two-day cross-artistic performance and invite the festival audience to explore and ponder the role of art in a crisis situation. The project has been curated by a performance artist Willem Wilhelmus.
A discussion Artists speak about adapting to climate change (Sunday, 11:00-11:30, Taiga Stage) is also included in the project.
